CHEF DE PARTIE / JUNIOR SOUS CHEF / SOUS CHEF

Salary: 2500.00

Responsibilities:

1) Responsible for supervising and coordinating all kitchen personnel and participate in the cooking and preparation of food.    

2) Ensure efficiency and profitable functioning of the kitchen.

3) Responsible for the quality and presentation of food prepared in the kitchen.


Requirements:

1) Knowledge of how all products are prepared and handled within the kitchen

2) Good understanding of food quality criteria

3) Able to establish recipes and cost

4) Create and decide on new menu items  and actively stays abreast of food trends and the restaurant world

5) Good supervisory and interpersonal skills

6) Able to understand outlet profit and loss

7) Ability to control food and labour cost

8) Revenue maximisation through menu planning

9) Has a broad view extending beyond his/her outlet
