Fashion Merchandiser (Fashion Apparels / Luggage & Travel Bags)

Salary: 2000.00

Responsibilities:

 Design & Product Development

 Planing of Merchandising Mix and Product Plan

 Manage day-to-day Purchase Order Management

 Conduct & Analyse market trend research, identify market potential, sales data and feedback, local and international

 To source, negotiate and purchase materials for related products

 Provide prototype sampling information such as; fabrication, color, graphic, applications, style, detail and fit requirements

 Maintain and perform costing for each project

 Analyse and identify the various purchasing (spend) requirements

 Create spend forecasts and then monitor these against the actual spend

 Material planning for production line

 Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries & specifications of products ordered

 Communicate and work with multi-functional team effectively to ensure smooth execution of duties and timely resolution of issues.

 Maintain sound working relationships with vendors to ensure responsive service and timely resolution of all issues.

 Source/Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in engagement for new business relations and propose to the manager.

 Analyse the current and future trends and opportunities in the supply market

 Participate in analyse current procurement activities and improve through more efficient procurement practices such as economies of scale, standardization, cooperative purchasing and value analysis

 Handle both import and export matters

 Liaise with suppliers on shipment schedules, process shipping documents

 Liaise with accounts team on payment matters

 Work with inter-departments for merchandising plan & pricing.

 Open-To-Buy (OTB) Planning

Requirements:

 2 years of merchandising and purchasing experience

 Minimum Diploma in Fashion Design / Merchandising or equivalent

 Possess strong fashion sense and market sensitivity

 Strong planning and organization skills to multi-task in a fast pace environment

 Dynamic, highly self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently with minimum supervision

 Good team player with positive work attitude

 Strong negotiation, and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills

 Good with administrative work and able to handle multi-tasks

 Able to travel to regularly or ad-hoc basis, for product development and inspection

 Strong in PC & MAC usuage, MS Office, Adobe, Design related software.


Other Information

 Working location in Kaki Bukit area

 Able to start work immediately

 Only Singaporeans/SPR may apply.

 Minimum 5 years of experience for senior position and above.

 Entry level candidates are welcome.
